Mark Dawber is the Co-Founder and Chief Energy & Infrastructure Officer at ERA4, where he leads the site, energy strategy, and delivery for the UK’s sovereign AI capacity. A seasoned C-suite executive, Mark specialises in engineering readiness, carbon-aware AI infrastructure, and ESG-aligned energy strategies to support sustainable technology growth. His expertise spans the end-to-end delivery of grid connections, behind-the-meter power solutions, and data centres optimized for AI workloads.

Simultaneously, Mark serves as the Managing Director of Valencia Energy, a privately owned renewable energy portfolio. In this role, he holds full accountability for a nationally dispersed business, driving commercial performance, asset modernisation, and a robust renewables pipeline across engineering, operations, and trading. With a proven track record across corporate and SME environments, Mark brings a unique blend of cross-sector leadership in energy, waste, and sustainability to shape the next generation of climate-aligned compute. He holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton and an MBA from Cranfield University.
